We use AI tools to help sort and answer email, and our replies say so. Anything that commits the publisher, such as a legal matter, a partnership or advertising, is handled by a person.

Email is not a secure channel. Please don't send passwords, payment details or documents you need to keep private. If you send a VIN, a license plate or your contact details so we can answer you, we use them only for that reply and delete them after 30 days. Our privacy policy has the details.

Tips

We are interested in recalls and defects, title washing, odometer rollback, flood and salvage cars, stolen cars and used-car scams. A link to a record or document helps us check a tip. We can't reply to every tip, and we publish only what we can confirm from a primary source.
